Due to a significant outbreak of COVID-19 among students at the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in Plainfield, Indiana, the Law Enforcement Training Board has made the decision to temporarily suspend the 2021-224 class at ILEA. 

Wednesday, the Indiana Department of Health announced 1,248 additional COVID-19 cases and 12 deaths as 11 more counties were raised from the "Blue", safest advisory level.

In total, the scholarship program awarded over $170,000 in scholarship awards to students in the county.

The two-day benefit event will be held at the St. Meinrad Park on September 24 & 25 and will again feature FREE Admission.

Tonya Heim was the Vice President of Patient Services and Chief Nursing Officer at Memorial Hospital until her retirement in December 2019. 

One pilot community will be selected and awarded a two-million-dollar grant for implementation funds of downtown preservation projects and operational expenses through OCRA’s Community Development Block Grant program.

Habitat for Humanity of Dubois County (HFHDC) is pleased to announce the selection of the Armstrong family to partner on the upcoming Habitat home build in Huntingburg. 

At approximately 9:30 p.m. Tuesday night, the Jasper Police Department responded to the area of 402 Plymouth Street in reference to a domestic battery with a female subject with unknown injuries. 

The Lincoln Amphitheatre will host the iconic Del McCoury Band—the most awarded band in the history of the bluegrass genre—on Saturday, August 7.  Doors for the event will be at 5 p.m. for VIP ticket holders and 5:30 p.m. for general admission tickets

The driver was charged with a felony count and three misdemeanors.
