The Jasper Cross Country Booster Club held a surprise party for the state bound Jasper Cross Country team. The Jasper runners are heading to the state finals as a team for the first time since 1952. Here members of the 52 team join this years Cross Country team in the pre race circle. Jasper will run at the Laverne Gibson Course this Saturday afternoon for the state championship

Former Jasper and Indiana University golf standout Jennifer Seger was inducted last night into the Indiana Golf Hall of Fame in a ceremony in Lebanon. Seger was the State Mental Attitude Award winner at the IHSAA State finals, a top Junior Golfer in the state and had an outstanding career golfing for Indiana University in the 1990's
