William E. “Bill” Mundy, age 59, of Huntingburg
William E. “Bill” Mundy, age 59, of Huntingburg, passed away at 12:39 a.m., on Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.
He was born August 17, 1960, in Jasper, Indiana, to Linus and Phyllis (Schrader) Mundy; and married Annette L. Stephens on August 18, 1979, in Huntingburg. Bill was an inspector for Toyota Manufacturing in Princeton and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He was an avid Cincinnati Reds and I.U. sports fan. Bill enjoyed camping, grilling, home improvement projects and being with his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Mary Bean and Bernadine Mundy.
Bill is survived by his wife, Annette L. Mundy of Huntingburg; two children, B.J. (Heather) Mundy of Princeton and Racheal (Wayne) Harder of Jasper; six brothers, Ronald, David, Michael and Charlie Mundy all of Ferdinand, Marty Mundy of Jasper, and John Mundy of Jeffersonville; one sister, Barb (Bob) Matthews of Ferdinand; five grandchildren, Jeremiah Mundy, Reece Harder, Gehrig Mundy, Rylan Harder and Dylan Gray; and by one great-grandchild, Laney Mundy.
Private funeral services for William E. “Bill” Mundy will be held at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg. Burial will follow at Chinn Cemetery near Dale. Limited visitation will be held at the Nass & Son Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, May 14, 2020.
