Vicki Jean Pluris, 70, of Paoli

Vicki Jean Pluris, 70, of Paoli Indiana, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Paoli Health & Living. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on March 4, 1951, to Darrel and Jeanne Butler Mills Stalcup. Vicki married Max Pluris on June 7, 1969, and he survives.

Vicki was preceded in death by her father, Darrel Mills, and grandparents, Wilmer and Laura Butler, and Lee and Hazel Mills.

She was a 1969 graduate from Springs Valley High School. Vicki was a lifelong member of Sulphur Creek Church. She taught Sunday School for over 50 years and has served as an Elder since 2008. Vicki has played the part of Mary, the mother of Jesus, in every passion drama since 2000. She was a homemaker and beloved volunteer at the local nursing homes. Vicki was deeply passionate about caring for her mother and helping others. She was a devoted wife, mother, and mamaw.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-9:00 PM, Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at Dillman-Scott Funeral home located at 226 W. Campbell Street, Paoli, Indiana 47454. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at the Sulphur Creek Church at 1:00 PM located 5353 W. County Rd., 200 S, French Lick, Indiana 47432, and visitation will begin at 10:00 AM until time of service. Interment will be in the Sulphur Creek Church Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sulphur Creek Church.
