Thelma L. Witt, age 67, of Jasper
Thelma L. Witt, age 67, of Jasper, passed away at 5:57 p.m., on Saturday, February 16, 2019, at her home.
She was born September 20, 1951, in Shoals, Indiana to Earl and Doris (Hopkins) Witt. She was an in-home caregiver for families in the surrounding areas; and enjoyed reading, drawing and doing puzzles. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Linda Hill and Marsha Witt; and two brothers, William Witt and Johnny Raymond Witt.
She is survived by three sisters, Virginia Witt of Jasper, Wilma Waters of Casey, Illinois, and Peggy Carrico of Jasper; two brothers, David Witt of Triangle, Virginia, and Donald Witt of Shoals; by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Thelma Witt will be held at 1:00 p.m., E.S.T., on Thursday, February 21, 2019, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Spring Hill Cemetery in Shoals.
She is survived by three sisters, Virginia Witt of Jasper, Wilma Waters of Casey, Illinois, and Peggy Carrico of Jasper; two brothers, David Witt of Triangle, Virginia, and Donald Witt of Shoals; by several nieces and nephews.
