Tammy Jo Hembree, 60, of Loogootee

Tammy Jo Hembree, 60, of Loogootee, IN passed away on Saturday November 6, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born on June 5, 1961, in Washington, IN to Donald E. and Edna May (Lents) Hembree.

Tammy was a 1979 graduate of Loogootee High School. She worked for Jasper Rubber Products in Jasper, Indiana for 35 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Tammy was proud to be an aunt to her nephew and two nieces whom she loved dearly.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, James and Pauline Lents, paternal grandparents, Willis and Mary Hembree, her mother Edna May Hembree, and her sister Nancy Ann Hembree.

Tammy is survived by her father, Donald E. Hembree, her sisters, Donna Sturgeon, and Christine Hembree, her nieces, Amanda (Jeremy) Lewis, Kayla (Daniel) Tedrow, her nephew Dylan (Bethany Welker) Sturgeon, and her beloved dog Oreo.

Cremation was chosen according to her wishes, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
