Stanley Gerald Weisenberger, age 81, of Jasper

Stanley Gerald Weisenberger, age 81, of Jasper, Indiana, passed into eternity at 9:33 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at home surrounded by family and he will now greet every sunrise on a lake, pulling in Blue Gill with his best fishing buddy, Julius Mueller, and every sunset on a peaceful motorcycle ride. 

Stan was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on May 8, 1943, to Jospeh G. And Ruth H. (Bilaski) Weisenberger.  He married Janice E. Gilmore, on September 24, 1966, at Precious Blood Church in Dayton, Ohio. Stan was a sheet metal worker, belonging to Local 224 in Dayton, Ohio, where he worked for Schriber Steet Metal.  After moving to Indiana in 1975, he worked for Kimball International, retiring after 29 years.  He also worked at the Home Depot and Felts Lock. He was a graduate of Fairview High School in Dayton, Ohio, and completed four years of apprenticeship in Sheet Metal. He was an avid fisherman, loved golfing and motorcycle riding. 

He is survived by his wife, Janice Weisenberger, Jasper, IN, son, Timothy (Kelly Jo) Weisenberger, French Lick, IN, daughter, Kelly Land, Jasper, IN, four grandsons, Clayton Weisenberger, and Jackson, Harrison and Lawson Land, two brothers, Joseph (Patty) Weisenberger, Dayton, OH, John (Candi) Weisenberger, Thornton, CO, and one sister-in-law, Diane Johnson, Richmond, VA. 

Preceding him in death are his grandparents, parents, and one nephew, Graham Weisenberger. 

There will be no public viewing or funeral at this time.  A private family service will be held at a later date.  His cremated remains will be at rest at Fairview Cemetery in Jasper, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a favorite charity or to Redemption Christian Church in Jasper.
