Sherry L. Martin, 60, former resident of Martin County

She was born on January 29, 1962 in Washington, IN to Donald and Wilma (Ziegler) Seals. Sherry married Ralph Martin on May 19, 2011 and he survives. 

She attended The River of Life Church in Petersburg, IN. Sherry loved to garden and bake. She loved to care for people and spent her time caring for the elderly for Qualicare. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. 

Sherry is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents. 

She is survived by her husband, Ralph Martin of Petersburg, IN, her children, April (Brad) Good Indianapolis, IN, Brandon Blake of Yukon, OK, Alan (Angie) Tarr of Shoals, IN, her step-children, David Eugene (Stephanie) Martin Dale, IN, Angie Martin of Huntingburg, IN, her adopted grandchildren, Regina Martin, Megan Martin, Morgan Martin, and several grandchildren, her parents, Donald and Wilma Seals of Loogootee, IN, her siblings, Ed Seals of Loogootee, IN, Donnie Seals of Evansville, IN, Mike Seals of Loogootee, IN and many nieces, nephews, and friends. 

A funeral visitation will be conducted Tuesday April 12, 2022 at 1:00 P.M at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee. Burial will follow at a later date in Truelove Church Cemetery. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 12, 2022 from 11:00 A.M until the time of service at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee.
