Sarah L. Barrera, 57, of Loogootee

She was born July 12, 1964 in Bloomington, Indiana to the late Dale and Marsha (Henderson) Weddle. Sarah was religious and attended First Pentecostal Church of Odon. She truly believed in Acts 2:38. She loved being a mother and grandmother. She also enjoyed riding horses with her Dad. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Marsha Weddle; grandparents, Marie and Carl Honeycutt and Ruth and Bill Weddle. 

Sarah is survived by her husband, Joseph M. Barrera of Loogootee; children, Tiffany Smith and Cody Smith, both of Bloomington; granddaughter, Sierra; sister, Shelly Weddle of Judah; and Smokie the cat. 

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee. Burial will follow in Clover Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Blake Funeral Home.
