Robert (Bob) Meeks, age 80, of Lincoln City

Robert (Bob) Meeks, age 80, of Lincoln City, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at his home. Bob was born in Rockport IN on June 14th, 1943 to Nellie Meeks. He was a Student at South Spencer High School and joined the US Navy at 17 years old. He was proud to be a Veteran and was a member of the Santa Claus American Legion.
    
Bob retired from the Union Iron Workers, Local 103 in Evansville. He was a lifelong musician, with an emphasis on bass guitar, and enjoyed playing classic rock. His other hobbies included camping, working on his home, driving his 1950 Studebaker, and spending time with his dogs and his family.
    
Bob is survived by his wife, Sherri Meeks, Daughters, Robin (Mark) Trotter,  Angie Meeks, Samara Meeks and Amanda Young, Grandchildren, David (Andrea) Maddox, Logan (Kristi) Meeks, Haley Maddox, Jayden (Nate) Allen, Kynzee (Tyler) Curtsinger, Damian (Taylor) Coalter, and Madelyn (Kasey) Cotto, and numerous great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nellie Meeks and his brother, Louie.
