Rheta L. Fisher 68, of Shoals

Rheta L. Fisher 68, of Shoals, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on December 25th, 2022 at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper, Indiana.

She was born in French Lick, Indiana on October 26th, 1954 to William “Bill” and Betty (Moore) Tomlinson.

Rheta married Duane Chastain and he preceded her in death, and she married Jack Fisher on February 14th, 2011 and he survives.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, and (1) Brother – William “Eddie” Tomlinson. 

Rheta was a 1973 graduate of Springs Valley High School, a member of the Church at Powell Valley, and had retired from the Ritz Restaurant in Paoli, where she was known for her great cooking.

She loved her church, family, cooking, playing with her cats, and enjoyed doing oil paintings.

                          Rachael Houghton of Evansville, Indiana

(2) Brothers – Timothy Tomlinson (Marilyn) of French Lick, Indiana
                       Bill Tomlinson (Janet) of French Lick, Indiana

(3) Sisters – Veronica Archer (Cheyenne) of French Lick, Indian
                    Karen Crowe (Earl) of Jasper, Indiana
                    Gloria “Birdie” Nolan (Mike Morgan) of French Lick, Indian

(1) Sister-in-law – Mary Tomlinson of French Lick, Indiana

Several Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins also survive.

FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Pastor Randy Stevens on Saturday, December 31st, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church at Powell Valley with burial to follow at Anderson Cemetery.

VISITATION
Visitation will be on Friday, December 30th, 2022 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home and on Saturday, December 30th, 2022 at The Church at Powell Valley from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
