Randal Lee "Randy" Durcholz, age 68 of Huntingburg

Randal Lee "Randy" Durcholz, age 68 of Huntingburg - Duff,  Indiana, passed away at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, July 12, 2021 in Georgia.

Randy was born on September 13, 1952 in Jasper, Indiana to Charles and Rita (Rasche) Durcholz.  He married Susan Ann Hochgesang on November 22, 1975 in Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper.

Randy was a graduate of the Ireland High School class of 1970, a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the American Legion Post #147 and the American Veterans.

He was a lifelong farmer and was a grain bin salesman.

He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Ireland, IN, a member of the Jasper Moose Lodge #1175, the Huntingburg Fraternal Order of Eagles #708, and the GoldWing Riders Club.

He enjoyed riding motorcycles, spending winters in Florida, making homemade sausages, fishing, and cooking.

Surviving are his wife, Susan Ann "Susie" Durcholz, two sons; Steven Durcholz of Duff, and Mark Durcholz of Huntingburg, three sisters; Janice Corn, Petersburg, Carol Schetter (Eugene), Jasper, and Sarah Helms (Mark), Jasper, one sister-in-law; Carla Durcholz, Duff. 

Preceding him in death were his parents, one brother, Kenneth J. Durcholz, and one daughter-in-law, Jill Durcholz.  

A Mass of Christian Burial for Randal Lee "Randy" Durcholz will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 16, 2021, in St. Mary Catholic Church in Ireland, Indiana, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  The American Legion Post 147 will conduct military graveside rites.  

A visitation will be held from 9am until the 11am Mass time at St. Mary Catholic Church on Friday.
