Peggy A. (Eddy) Frye, 78, of Loogootee, Indiana, passed away at Poplar Care
Nursing Center, Loogootee, Indiana on February 12, 2025.
Born on December 10,
1946, in Champaign, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Merton and Maxine
(O’Bryant) Eddy. Peggy was married to James Frye on February 23, 1966, and he
proceeded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter, Amy Ashby (Wade Hurdle) of Loogootee; her
step-son, Bob Pielemeier and his wife, Brenda. Peggy leaves behind her
grandchildren: RJ Ashby, Abby Brabender and husband Jeremy, Josh Pielemeier
and his wife, Beth, along with 7 great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and
nephews.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Merton and Maxine Eddy, and her
husband, James, 3 siblings: Robert Eddy and wife Barb, Elmo Eddy and wife Jean,
and Mike Eddy and wife Mimi.
Graveside service will be held at a later date at Truelove Cemetery.
