Patricia “Patsy” Bruner, 76, of Loogootee

 She was born August 11, 1944 in St. Charles, Missouri to the late Gerald “Jerry” and Dolores (Wolfe) Bizelli. Patsy married Andy Bruner on November 28, 1992 and he survives. 

Patsy earned her registered nurse license in 1986 from the University of Evansville. She worked in the Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Psych Ward and then started the psych unit at St. Joseph Hospital in Huntingburg. She finished her career at Loogootee Nursing Center as the Nursing Director. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, sewing and needlework. She also liked to collect rooster/chicken knick knacks, going on drives and caring for her dogs and all of God’s creatures. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Gerald “Jerry” Masterson. 

Patsy is survived by her husband, Andy Bruner of Loogootee; daughter, Linda King of St. Louis, Missouri; sons, John (JoAnn) Masterson of Jasper, Lawrence Masterson of Jasper, Pat “Adam” (Sharon) Masterson of Haysville and Eric Masterson of St. Charles, Missouri; step-sons, Clayton (Michele) Bruner of Escondido, California and Clint (Kimberly) Bruner of Phoenix, Arizona; siblings, Peggy (Gary) Presson of St. Charles, Missouri, Sally (Paul) Johns of Niles, Michigan, Gerry Sue Bryan and James Glastetter of St. Peters, Missouri, Gerald (Tom) Bizelli of Whifield, Missouri and Candy (John) Heidbreeder of Welden Springs, Missouri.
