Patricia A. "Pat" Braun, age 86, of Jasper

Patricia A. "Pat" Braun, age 86, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, in the Timbers of Jasper, in Jasper, Indiana.
 
Pat was born in St. Anthony, Indiana, on April 12, 1933, to Herbert and Tillie (Schuch) Englert.  She married John Braun on September 12, 1953, in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana.
 
She was a 1951 graduate of Jasper High School.
 
Pat was a stenographer for Kimball International and then worked in customer service in Wal-Mart.
 
She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana, St. Ann's Society, and Jasper D of I.
 
She enjoyed nature, especially, loving birds and butterflies, reading, music, singing, and spending time with family and friends.
 
Surviving are her husband, John Braun, Jasper, IN, two daughters, Barb McAtee, Jasper, IN, Beth King, Evansville, IN, one son-in-law, Duane Chattin, Vincennes, IN, four grandchildren, two sisters, Doris Lee Witcher, Ft. Wayne, IN, Darlene (Ben) Drabing, French Lick, IN, and several nieces and nephews.
 
Preceding her in death is one daughter, Brenda Chattin.
 
A Mass of Christian Burial for Patricia A. "Pat" Braun, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 20, 2019, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana, with burial to follow at a later date.
 
A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time at the church on Friday.
 
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church or to a favorite charity.
