Pamela Jo Hamilton, 74, of Loogootee

Pamela Jo Hamilton, 74, of Loogootee, IN passed away on Friday October 21, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, IN surrounded by her family

She was born on March 20, 1948, in Indianapolis, IN to the late Dale and Audrey (Conrad) Gebhart.

Pam was a member of the Baptist Faith. She married Joseph Hamiliton and he passed away in 2012. Pam was a loving mother and grandmother. She was known as the “Kissing Grandma” always giving kisses and hugs to her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Pam loved to sew, crochet, and make quilts. She made a quilt or blanket for each and every one of her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Pam was loved by her friends and family and will deeply missed by all that knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents Dale and Audrey Gebhart, her husband Joseph Hamiliton, her siblings, Sandra Shoopman, and Teddy Gebhart.

Pam is survived by her children; Joseph D. (Corina) Hamilton of Indianapolis, IN, Tonia (David) Holman of Loogootee, IN, her grandchildren; Diana Carter, Joseph Hamilton, Ryan Hunley, Brentany Brown, Samantha Holman, Patience Coss, her great- grandchildren; Raeania, Hailey, Tessa, Keegen, Lilianna, Ava, Bentley, Kayson, her siblings; Ronnie (Donna) Gebhart of Oklahoma, Barbara (Les) White of Las Vegas, NV, Wayne Gebhart of Indianapolis, IN, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Cremation was chosen according to Pam’s wishes. A celebration will be held at a later date.
