Michael “Mike” Newton, 78, of Loogootee

He was born on January 9, 1943, in Washington, IN to Michael J. and Hazel (Thompson) Newton. Mike married Bonnie (Hutchinson) Newton on April 10, 2011. He was well known for lawn care and enjoyed mowing lawns for over 23 years around Loogootee. Mike was a jokester and loved listening to music. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; Michael and Hazel Newton, his son Michael J. Newton Jr., his sisters; Georgia Wininger, Marianne Matteson, and his niece Carla Jo Frye. 

Mike is survived by his loving wife Bonnie, his daughter Danielle Jeanette Newton, his sister Margie Mattingly, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Cremation was chosen according to his wishes.
