Mervin R. Holt, 69, of Shoals

Born September 9, 1954 in Shoals, he was the son of Robert and Ruby (Gilbert) Holt. Mervin loved Martin County and loved to talk about the history and his families genealogy. 

Surviving are his siblings, John R. Holt, Matilda Brown, and Charlotte Tuell; and several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ruby Holt; and siblings, Edward and Janice Holt. 

Cremation was chosen and a private family burial will be held at Spring Hill Cemetery at a later date.
