Mary Frances Healy, 58, of Evansville

She was born March 27, 1966 in Jasper, Indiana to the late Francis Leo and Alberta Frances (Strange) Healy. Mary was a devout Catholic and regularly attended Mass. She was a member of the Junior Achievement of Southwest Indiana and helped with the Special Olympics. She loved her nieces and nephews as her own. Mary enjoyed travelling and had been to 13 countries. She also attended countless musical and theatre performances. Mary was employed by Accuride for nearly 20 years. 

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Alberta Healy; and several aunts and uncles. She is survived by her brothers, DJ (Keitha) Healy of Loogootee and Rod (Christy) Healy of Washington; nephews and nieces, William (Danielle) Healy, Laura (JJ) Jones, Erin Healy, and Chase Healy; 6 great-nieces and great-nephews; goddaughter, Heather (Josh) Hager; uncle, Paul Leo Strange; aunts, Linda Hunter and Maggie Craney. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Very Rev. J. Kenneth Walker at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 8 th , 2024 at St. Martin Catholic Church in Whitfield. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, June 7, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee and Saturday, June 8 th , 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. at the church. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the St. Vincent De Paul.
