Mark K. Smoot, age 62, of French Lick

Mark K. Smoot, age 62, of French Lick, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on October 6th, 2021 at his residence.

He was born in Bedford, Indiana on January 25th, 1959 to Bud and Barbara (Sowders) Smoot.

Mark was preceded in death by his Parents.

He married Doloris West in 1977 and she survives.

Mark was a 1977 graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School and retired from A & D Distributors after 23 years as a Route Supervisor. He had also been owner and operator of West’s IGA and Smoot’s Pizza in French Lick.

He enjoyed playing golf, watching sports (especially IU), taking care of flowers, sitting by the pool and spending time with family and friends.

Wife - Doloris Smoot of French Lick, Indiana

(1) Son - Mark Smoot (Mary) of French Lick, Indiana

(1) Daughter - Stacey Emmons (Scott Kunkel) of French Lick, Indiana

(3) Brothers - Dennis Smoot (Priscilla) Bedford, Indiana, Eddie Smoot (Peggy) of Bedford, Indiana and Larry Smoot (Terri) of French Lick, Indiana

(2) Step-Sisters - Linda Lovell (Terry Graves) of Bedford, Indiana and Carol Stigall (Kim) of Bedford, Indiana

(6) Grandchildren - Cody Emmons, Wyman Smoot, Emily Emmons, Kash Smoot, Jordan Kunkel and Kaylee Kunkel

Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Bro. Joe Crow at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 11th, 2021 at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home, French Lick, Indiana with burial to follow in Mount Lebanon Cemetery.

VISITATION
Visitation for friends will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 9th, 2021 and 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at the funeral Home.

Due to the Coronavirus, we ask that all guests wear masks and practice social distancing (6 feet or more). Thank you for your cooperation.
