Louanna Mae (Martin) Rauscher, age 92, of Duff

Louanna Mae (Martin) Rauscher, age 92, of Duff, Indiana, passed away at 4:55 p.m., on Friday, February 15, 2019, at The Waters of Huntingburg.

She was born November 29, 1926, in Duff, Indiana, to Dan and Amelia (Weisheit) Martin; and married Wilford Rauscher on May 4, 1947, at Salem United Church of Christ in Huntingburg.  Louanna was a homemaker and helped in the daily operation of the family farm.  She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ in Huntingburg.  Louanna was preceded in death by her husband, Wilford Rauscher, who passed away on June 5, 2008; and one son, Gerald “Jerry” Rauscher.

She is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law, Mark (Alice) Rauscher of Duff, Ind. and Steve (Cheryl) Rauscher of Duff, Ind.; daughter-in-law, Becky Rauscher of Evansville, Ind.;seven grandchildren, Sara (Toby) Rogers of Carmel, Ind., Dan (Erin) Rauscher of Huntingburg, Ind., Ann (Greg) Singer of Billings, Montana, Jeff (Laura) Rauscher of Clarksville, Tennessee, Emily Rauscher of College Station, Texas, Nathan Rauscher of Huntingburg, Ind. and Scott Rauscher of Canada; three step grandchildren, Kelley Jo Watson of Montana, Michael (Angie) Johnson and Cheryl Johnson of Evansville, Ind.; seven great-grandchildren, Quinn Rogers, Kate Rogers, Liam Rauscher, Rhys Rauscher, Ellie B. Singer, Avery Rauscher and Cailyn Rauscher; and four step great-grandchildren, Jazlyn Johnson, Dominic Johnson, Ellis Johnson and Brayden Johnson.

 Funeral services for Louanna Rauscher will be held at 10:00 a.m., E.S.T., on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at Salem United Church of Christ in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Mayo Cemetery near Duff.  Reverend Mark McDaniel and Rev. Mike Thompson will officiate at the funeral.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 4:00-8:00 p.m., on Tuesday, February 19th; and also at church one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Dubois County Leukemia Association or the Salem Church Music Fund.
