Lorene Knepp, 89, of Loogootee

Lorene Knepp, 89, of Loogootee, Indiana passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023 at Daviess Community Hospital. 

She was born May 10, 1934 in Loogootee, Indiana to the late Peter and Lovinia (Graber) Wagler.

Lorene was a member of the Believers Fellowship Amish Mennonite Church. 

She was preceded in death by her son, Marlin Knepp; parents, Peter and Lovinia Wagler; siblings, Edith (Ezra) Knepp, Mary (Fred) Stoll, Martha Wagler, and Ezra Wagler. 

Lorene is survived by her husband, Edwin Knepp, of Loogootee; daughters, Martha Knepp and Marilyn Knepp, both of Loogootee; sister-in-law, Lilly Wagler; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, October 19, 2023 at the Produce Building in Montgomery. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Amish Mennonite Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2023 beginning at 4:00 p.m. will continue until the time of service at the Produce Building.
