Lindsey J. Marshall Griepenstroh, age 38, of Lamar

Lindsey J. Marshall Griepenstroh, age 38, of Lamar, Indiana passed away at 12:16 p.m., on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at home surrounded by her family.

She was born June 23, 1980, in Evansville, Indiana to Randall R. and Cheryl C. (Brinkley) Marshall; and married Wayne Griepenstroh on June 1, 2002, at New Hope Baptist Church in Newtonville.  Lindsey worked as a Safety Coordinator at National Office Furniture in Santa Claus; and attended Ivy Tech where she was one semester away from completing her degree.  Lindsey loved life and loved her kids.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ralph Marshall and Gene & Iris Brinkley.

Lindsey is survived by her husband, Wayne Griepenstroh of Lamar; three children, Isaiah J., Lyliah J. and Maiah J. Griepenstroh all at home; her parents, Cheryl C. Marshall of Santa Claus and Randall R. Marshall of Tennyson; her grandmother, Anna Marshall of Selvin; three siblings, Andrea (Scott) Franklin of Bowling Green, KY, Brett Marshall of Selvin and Whitney (Ron) Cranick of Newburgh; nieces and nephews, Madolyn and Allyson Franklin, William Shooter, Max Marshall, Brenden Grimes, Karter and Brooklyn Nuhring, Hannah and Emily Cranick; and byaunts, uncles, cousins and loved ones.

Lindsey wished to express her gratitude to: Dr. Thomas Witt for being the best neurosurgeon, Rose for always pushing me further, Mickie for being Mickie, Dr. Erin Marchand for being an amazing doctor and gift to humanity, and my Mom for all the love she gave, is giving, and will continue to give.

celebration of life service, with friends and family sharing stories and memories of Lindsey, will be held at 2:00 p.m., C.D.T. (3:00 p.m., E.D.T.), on Saturday, August 4, 2018, at Santa’s Lodge in Santa Claus with visitation held from 11:00 a.m., C.D.T. (12:00 p.m., E.D.T.), until the time of the service.

Arrangements have been entrusted with the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Education Fund set up for the Griepenstroh children c/o Spencer County Bank.
