Linda R. Sendelweck, 80

She was born in Otwell, Indiana to the late Glen and June (Gladish) Richardson. 

Linda was a retired teacher with New Albany Floyd County Schools, beginning in 1967 at Floyd Central High School where she was Dean of Girls, then Hazelwood Junior High School in the early 1980s, and finally at M. Lucille Reisz Extended Services Center, where she was a teacher and counselor to adults and pregnant and parenting teens through 2001. She was a member of several civic organizations, including Business and Professional Women (BPW) and Faculty Wives in the 1970s, was a 4-H leader and Hospice volunteer in the 1980s, and most recently enjoyed the fun and fellowship of the Red Hat Society. 

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Jerald Sendelweck; two children, Sarah Alexander (Daniel), and Steven Sendelweck; two grandchildren, Katherine Alexander and Nicholas Alexander.
