Linda L. Lampert, age 75 of Jasper

Linda L. Lampert, age 75 of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 4:28 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at home surrounded by family.
 
Linda was born in Jasper, Indiana on October 24, 1944 to Oscar Sr. and Ellanora (Vonderheide) Recker.  She married Dennis Lampert on November 22, 1962 in Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper.
 
She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper, where she volunteered on their bereavement committee and worked the church picnic.   
 
She enjoyed playing cards, gardening, fishing, baking, going for "drives" and UTV rides, night crawler hunting, looking for treasures, and hosting gatherings.  She was strong in her faith and enjoyed reading the bible.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, her family, and friends.  
 
Surviving are her husband; Denny Lampert of Jasper, six sons; Dennis Ray Lampert (Pam), St. Anthony, Donny Lampert (Nicole), Bretzville, Daniel Lampert (Patty), Jasper, Doug Lampert (Cheryl), Jasper, Tim Lampert (Jenny), Jasper, and Tracy Lampert (Rachel), Jasper, three daughters; Tonya Weisheit (Darren), Jasper, Tammy Lampert, Jasper, and Tiffany Lampert Quinn (Justin), Jasper, 19 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, two sisters; Rita Mae Purcell, Sacramento, CA , and Susie Leinenbach (Pat), Bretzville, one brother; Jay Recker, Jasper, and one sister-in-law; Sylvia Recker of Jasper.
 
Preceding her in death were her parents, one brother; Oscar Recker Jr., and two sisters; Shirley Fischer, and Viola Himsel.
 
A visitation for Linda L. Lampert will be held from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, Indiana.  Private funeral services will be held on Monday, July 13, 2020 with burial to follow at Enlow City Cemetery in Jasper.
