Larry M. Hochgesang, age 79, of Ireland, Indiana, passed away at 10:55 a.m. on Monday, December 2, 2019, at Cathedral Health Care Center in Jasper, Indiana.
Larry was born in Santa Monica, California, on December 29, 1939, to Martin J. and Louise (Bachman) Hochgesang. Larry never married.
Larry attended Ireland High School and worked in construction for a time in his 30's.
He attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Ireland, Indiana.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are one brother, Mike (Pat) Hochgesang, Jasper, IN, two sisters, Emma (Tom) Hochgesang-Noffsinger, Cornelia, GA, Monica Hochgesang-Roy, Chandler, IN, and nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death are two sisters, Mary Rodriguez, and Martha A. Hochgesang, and two brothers, Charles and Kenneth Hochgesang, and two brothers-in-law, Ron Roy and Juan Rodriguez.
Funeral services for Larry M. Hochgesang will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 6, 2019, in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time at the church on Friday.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church or to a favorite charity.
