Kevin Lindsey, 61, of Shoals

Kevin Lindsey, 61, of Shoals, Indiana passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, August 16th, 2023 at Ascension St. Vincent in Evansville, Indiana

He was born June 2nd, 1962 in Washington, Indiana to the late John D. and Doris (Wildman) Lindsey.

Kevin worked for the Premier Company, formerly White River Co-Op, for nearly 22 years. He spent his whole life working various farm and agriculture related jobs. He loved to fish and gardening. Kevin was a member of the American Legion – Post 61. He also was a ten year 4-H member. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, John D. and Doris Lindsey; brother, James Lindsey.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Lisa Lindsey, who he married December 3, 2011; sons, Ben (Skylar) Lindsey and Brandon (Andrea) Lindsey; granddaughter, Eleanor Lindsey; siblings, John M. (Terri) Lindsey and Dora (Mark) Wampler; sister-in-law, Lisa Lindsey; step-children, Jerry Neilson, Brittney Neilson and family, and Justin Valdez; step-granddaughter, Eva Valdez; Johnny, the dog; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Loogootee Methodist Church. 

Visitation will be held Monday, August 21, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Loogootee Methodist Church and Tuesday, August 22, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Martin County 4-H Council.
