Katrina L. Jones, age 40, of Shoals

Katrina L. Jones, age 40, of Shoals, Indiana entered into eternal rest on February 7th, 2022 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital in Bloomington, Indiana.

She was born in Paoli, Indiana on July 10th, 1981 to Garold “Doc” and Mardella (Reichenberger) Jones.

Katrina was preceded in death by her grandparents and several aunts and uncles.

She was a member of The Church at Powell Valley, a boom operator for Morin Timber, and had attended Shoals High School.

Katrina enjoyed playing cards, Mexican Train, rock hunting, antiques, and spending time with friends and family. 

She is survived by:

Parents - Garold “Doc” and Mardella Jones of Shoals, Indiana

(2) Daughters - Lillian K. Thacker of Shoals, Indiana and Bailee G. Jones of Shoals, Indiana

(1) Sister - Della M. Stigden (Lonnie) of Shoals, Indiana

Fiancé - Phillip Cummings of Shoals, Indiana

Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE CEREMONY

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at The Church at Powell Valley at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 12th, 2022.

Cremation was chosen.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the family to assist with expenses.
