Kathy S. Schitter, age 59, formerly of Ireland

Kathy S. Schitter, age 59 of Newburgh, Indiana, formerly of Ireland, IN, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2018 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Kathy was born in Jasper, Indiana on January 25, 1959 to Paul C. and Alma V. (Sendelweck) Schitter. 

She was a 1977 graduate of Jasper High School and then graduated from Tri-State Beauty College. She was a licensed beautician who worked in the Evansville and Newburgh area for 25 years.

She enjoyed music, crafts, and spending time with friends, family and her dog Yadie.

Surviving is her mother, Alma Schitter of Ireland, one brother, Jerald Schitter (Elaine), Jasper, three sisters, Janet Schitter, Jasper, Karyn Borden (Randy), Portersville, and Lori Hopf (Kurt), Celestine, nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death was her father, Paul C. Schitter.  

 A Mass of Christian Burial for Kathy Schitter will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Ireland, Indiana with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

 A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at St. Mary's Catholic Church.

 Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, or a favorite charity.
