Kathleen C. Day, age 68 of Jasper

Kathleen C. Day, age 68 of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 3:28 pm on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper, Indiana.  

Kathleen was born in Huntingburg, Indiana on February 23, 1954 to Arnold and Genevive (Kempf) Otto.  She married Jay R. Day on May 29, 1971 in St. Joseph Catholic Church. 

She worked as a manger for the Shoe Show in Jasper for many years.   

Kathleen was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper and was a previous member of their Stephen Ministry.  

She enjoyed arts and crafts, and spending time with family and friends.  

Surviving is her husband, Jay R. Day of Jasper, two sons, Kevin Day (Trudy), Newburgh, IN, and Mike Day, Jasper, five grandchildren, Cameren, Kayton, and Karagan Day, and Kyana and Easton Day, two brothers, Jerry Otto (Barbara), Jasper, and Randy Otto (Jan), Celestine.  

Preceding her in death where her parents were one grandchild, Keaton Day.  

A funeral service for Kathleen C. Day will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 15, 2022, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.  Chaplin Doug Faulkner will officiate.

A visitation will be held from 10 am until the 1 pm service time at Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.

Memorial contributions may be made to Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center or a favorite charity.
