Judy Vaughn, age 59, of Oakland City

Judy Vaughn, age 59, of Oakland City, Indiana, passed away at 8:59 a.m., on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at her residence.

She was born July 22, 1960, in Biloxi, Mississippi, to William “Bill” and Norma Jean (Thompson) Goodpaster; and in 1978 married Marvin R. Vaughn in Odon, Indiana.  Judy worked as a bookkeeper and office manager.  She was preceded in death by her father.

Judy is survived by her husband, Marvin R. Vaughn of Oakland City, Ind.; one daughter, Stacey Vaughn of Evansville, Ind.; her mother, Norma Jean Goodpaster of Stendal, Ind.; one brother, Mike (Teresa) Goodpaster of Stendal, Ind.; and one sister, Teri (Leo) Chapman-Avis of Tacoma, Washington.

Graveside services for Judy Vaughn will be held at 11:30 a.m., E.S.T., on Saturday, February 1, 2020, at the Zoar Cemetery in Zoar, Indiana.  Reverend Debbie Payne will officiate at the graveside service.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 10:00-11:00 a.m., on Saturday.
