Jimmy Dale Buffington, age 82, of French Lick

Jimmy Dale Buffington, age 82, of French Lick, Indiana entered into eternal rest on March 7th, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

He was born on December 30th, 1939 in West Baden Springs, Indiana to Chester C. and Olive Lean (Owen) Buffington.

Jimmy married Jennie Moffatt on July 17th, 1965 and she survives.

He was preceded in death by his Parents; (1) Daughter – Tina Lynch; and      (19) Brothers and Sisters.

Jimmy was a 1959 graduate of Springs Valley High School and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He then worked for Crane NSWC where he retired in 1996 after working for 31 years.

He was a founding member of Springs Valley Christian Church and was a big Springs Valley Blackhawk basketball fan.

Jimmy enjoyed mowing, doing “Tuesday Trash Day” for the family every Tuesday, and coaching and watching high school sports.

(2) Brothers - Terry Buffington of Mitchell, Indiana
            Vonnie Buffington of Spencer, Indiana

(2) Sisters - Wanda Tedrow of Shoals, Indiana
            Sharon Qualkenbush of Mitchell, Indiana

(6) Grandchildren - Ty Lynch (Cassie), Taylor DeVoy (John), Zerek Buffington (Adaire), Payton Buffington, Addi Buffington,             and Blake Buffington.

FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Bro. Jack Wilson on Friday, March 11th, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Springs Valley Christian Church, French Lick, Indiana with burial to follow in Mount Lebanon Cemetery.

VISITATION
Visitation for friends will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 10th, 2022 at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home in French Lick, Indiana and from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at the church.
