Jerry "Roger" Craig, age 84 of Otwell
Jerry "Roger" Craig, age 84 of Otwell, Indiana, passed away at 12:50 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper, Indiana.
Roger was born in Otwell, Indiana on August 5, 1936 to Dr. Harry and MariLou (Houtsch) Craig. He married Karen Jones on August 31, 1958 in Otwell Methodist Church.
He was a United States army veteran.
In 1962 Roger graduated for Kansas State University where he obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture Economics. He then worked as manager of Craig Mills Incorporated. He later worked as an area representative for National Farmers Association (NFO). He retired from A.L. Pharma where he became a regional sales manager.
His favorite hobby was playing music. For 16 years he played in a band called, Roger and Friends, where he sang and played the base guitar for all the local nursing homes.
Surviving are his wife of 62 years; Karen Craig, Otwell, IN, two sons; James D. (Cindy) Craig, Wadesville, IN and Jonathan Craig (Tammra Daugherty), Indianapolis, IN, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren, one sister; Cherril Weathers, Winslow, IN.
Preceding him in death are two brothers; Michael and James T. Craig.
