Jerry Mills, age 77, of French Lick
Jerry Mills, age 77, of French Lick, Indiana entered into eternal rest on March 28th, 2022 at Springs Valley Meadows, French Lick, Indiana.
He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on May 28th, 1944 to Leon and Edith (Case) Mills.
Jerry married Donna Gibson on June 11th, 1998 and she survives.
He was preceded in death by his Parents and (1) Sister – Charlene Lane.
Jerry was a member of Paoli Christian Church where he was a Deacon, the children’s bible study teacher and a greeter on Sunday mornings. He was a 1962 graduate of Springs Valley High School, received his Bachelor’s degree in education from Oakland City College, and earned his master’s degree in education from Indiana State University.
He taught Business at North Newton High School in Morocco, Indiana, Northwood Institute and North East Dubois High School where he retired. While teaching at North East Dubois he was also the High School Golf Coach, High School Girls Basketball Coach and Middle School Girls Basketball Coach. Jerry also worked at the Donald Ross Golf Course.
Jerry loved watching IU sports, especially football and basketball. He also enjoyed walking, traveling, working in the church and “puttering” around the house.

(1) Daughter - Angie Mills Brown (Jeff) of Lafayette, Indiana
(2) Step-Sons - Kevin Baker of Hardinsburg, Indiana
Justin Baker (Angela) of Birdseye, Indiana
(1) Step-Daughter - Ashley Gibbs (Chad) of English, Indiana
(6) Grandchildren and (8) Step-Grandchildren
CELEBRATION OF LIFE CEREMONY
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at Paoli Christian Church on Monday, April 4th, 2022 at 1:00 p.m.
VISITATION
Visitation for friends will be on April 4th, 2022 at Paoli Christian Church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Cremation was chosen and burial will be at Ames Chapel Cemetery at a later date.
