Jeffrey Dennis Hembree, 63, of Loogootee

 He was born September 21, 1958 in Washington, Indiana to John Kenneth and Janet Sue Elizabeth (Street) Hembree. Jeff married Paula Cole on August 21, 1982 and she survives. Jeff worked for Street Construction for nearly 30 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his father, John Hembree. 

Jeff is survived by his wife, Paula Hembree of Loogootee; children, Nick (Allison) Hembree of Loogootee, Emma (Ethan) Frye of Loogootee and Alex (Logan) Hembree of Odon; grandchildren, Mylee, Maycee, Cash and Colt Hembree, Liam Frye and Baby Girl Frye due in January 2022; mother, Janet Sue Hembree of Loogootee; siblings, Debbi (Greg) Davis of Loogootee, Beck (Tom) Robertson of Haysville and Junior (Cindy) Hembree of Haysville; many nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee. Burial will follow at Hindostan Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee.
