Jason D. Wathen, 46, of Loogootee

Jason D. Wathen, 46, of Loogootee, passed away on Saturday March 26, 2022, at Daviess Community Hospital in Washington, IN.

He was born in Washington, IN on August 3, 1975, to Barbara Elaine Wathen and Daniel Joseph Arvin. Jason married Tina on April 22, 2000, and she survives. He graduated with the class of 1994 from Loogootee High School. He was of the Catholic Faith. Jason enjoyed hunting and fishing with his late Father- in- law Mike Chambers. He was a St. Louis Cardinals fan. Most of all Jason enjoyed spending time with his family and being outdoors.

He is preceded in death by his parents Elaine Wathen and Daniel Arvin, and his brother Jacob Wathen.

Jason is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Tina Wathen of Loogootee, their children, Ashlynn, Macey, and Ruger Wathen, his father Mark A. Wathen of Loogootee, his mother – in – law Deana Chambers and several nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday March 30, 2022, at 10:00 A.M at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee. Burial will follow in Mount Zion Cemetery in Loogootee.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 29, 2022, from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M at Blake Funeral Home and on Wednesday March 30, 2022, from 9:00 A.M until the time of service.
