James Edward Keene Jr., 79, of Paoli, Indiana passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022, peacefully at his residence.

He was born on December 19, 1942, in Gallatin, Tennessee to James Edward and Jewell (Duffer) Keene. James married Sharon Jo Street on November 25, 1994, and she survives.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. James enjoyed going to ballgames and loved his St. Louis Cardinals baseball team and playing golf. He retired from Caterpillar in Joliet, Illinois.

7-Grandchildren, 8-Step-Grandchildren, 5-Great-Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive James Edward Keene Jr.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM, Central Time, Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Gallatin City Cemetery located at 250 Cemetery Ave, Gallatin, TN 37066.
