Ida Jones Bye, 85, of Corydon

Ida Jones Bye, 85, of Corydon, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on April 21st, 2022 at Brookside Village in Jasper, Indiana.

She was born in Vincennes, Indiana on February 27th, 1937 to Oliver Emmons and Thelma (Gammon) Emmons.

Ida married Hilbert Earl Jones on December 24th, 1956 and he preceded her in death on May 10th, 1998.  She then married Clarence Bye who preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and (1) Brother – Danny Emmons.

Ida attended Marengo Wesleyan Church and had been a cook at Manchester College in North Manchester, Indiana.

She enjoyed crossword puzzles and the TV show “Golden Girls”.

Ida is survived by:

                    Ronnie D. Jones of Florence, Kentucky
                    Daniel R. Jones of North Manchester, Indiana

(3) Daughters - Connie    Hart (Joe) of Loogootee, Indiana
                    Donna Salmon of Washington, Indiana
                    Michelle Jones of Roann, Indiana

(2) Brothers - Charles O. Emmons of Dubois, Indiana
                    Richard Emmons of Shoals, Indiana
                    
(1) Sister - Wilma Darlene Abel of Mitchell, Indiana

FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Pastor Tony Bye on Monday, April 25th, 2022 at 12:00 Noon at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow in Crystal Community Cemetery.

VISITATION
Visitation for friends will be on Monday, April 25th, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
