Gerard Neil Bachoco Dotterweich “Nico”, age 45, of Huntingburg

 Gerard Neil Bachoco Dotterweich “Nico”, age 45, of Huntingburg, Indiana, passed away at 8:45 p.m., C.D.T., Thursday, June 27, 2019, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville.

He was born December 24, 1973, in Angeles City, Philippines, to Wilfred J. Dotterweich and Lolita Horos Bachoco.  Neil worked as a sift manager at McDonalds Restaurant.  He was a member of Central Christian Church in Huntingburg; enjoyed auto mechanics and playing euchre; and was an avid sports enthusiast.  He was preceded in death by one sister, Amy Dotterweich.

Neil is survived by two sons, Dante Dotterweich and Caymen Dotterweich both of Huntingburg; one daughter, Cianna Dotterweich of Dayton, Ohio; his parents, Wilfred J. Dotterweich of Dayton, Ohio and Lolita Horos Bachoco of Pensacola, Florida; his longtime companion, Christina Wischer of Dayton, Ohio; his adopted mother, Eleanor Marek of Huntingburg; and two sisters, Lolita “Diane” Dotterweich (spouse, Shane) Smith of Louisville, Kentucky and Melisha Dotterweich Watt of Dayton, Ohio. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., E.D.T., Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at the Central Christian Church in Huntingburg with Brother Craig Taylor officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Huntingburg.

Friends may call for visitation at the Central Christian Church from 12:00 noon-2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, the day of the service.  Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
