Francis Gerald “Jerry” “Peanut” Colvin, 67

Francis Gerald “Jerry” “Peanut” Colvin, 67, passed away May 16, 2021 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Evansville, In with his family at his side. Jerry was born November 25, 1953 to Francis Jerome and Crystal Louise (Edwards) Colvin in Washington, IN. 

After graduating from Washington High School and Indiana State University he worked in wood manufacturing until his disability. He loved to camp, hunt game and mushrooms and fish. The best part was all the stories he would tell. He was never more happy than when he was outdoors.  

He leaves to cherish his memory his son Christopher Jerome (Jessica) of Washington and his daughter Lacy Louise (Alex) Holbrook of Oaktown. His sister Rita (James) Corn and nephew Scott Corn (Julie) all of Jasper. Three grandchildren, Damon, Destiny, and Devin Colvin, and the mother of his children, Cathy Jo Colvin of Oaktown. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Ronald Eugene “Gene” Edwards, and Richard Lee Colvin.  

Friends may visit with Peanut’s family from 11:00 am until the hour of service time of 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 2020 State Street, Washington, IN.
