Elizabeth (Graber) Weaver, 88, of Loogootee

Elizabeth (Graber) Weaver, 88, of Loogootee, IN entered into rest of March 10, 2024, at 3:13 A.M.

She married John B. Weaver who died on November 15, 1983. Elizabeth was a member of the Old Order Amish Church and worked at the Gasthof for 34 years. She was known there as “Grandma”.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John B. Weaver, her parents, Noah and Sarah (Graber) Graber, 2 sisters, Lydia Graber, Mary (Graber) Weaver, 1 brother and sister– in – law Jake and Naomi (Miller) Graber, 3 brother – in- law, Amos Graber, Joe Silcock, and Peter Kemp Jr.

Elizabeth is survived by her children Lloyd (Magdalena) Weaver, Louella (Danny) Marner, Ammon Jay (Ruth) Weaver, Mattie Irene (Marvin) Marner,  all of Loogootee, and Sarah Anna (John) Wagler of Odon, 27 grandchildren, 71 great- grandchildren, three sisters, Emma Silcock, Miriam Graber, and Delilia (Amos) Kemp, one brother, Samuel (Jean) Graber, her brother – in – law, Levi (Ida) Weaver.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Tuesday March 12, 2024, at the Produce Building. Visitation will begin on Sunday March 10, 2024, and continue through Monday March 11, 2024, until the time of service at 9:00 A.M Tuesday March 12, 2024. Burial will follow in Stoll Cemetery. Arrangements provided by Blake and Wagler Funeral Home in Montgomery, Indiana.
