Edna C. Nonte, age 91 of Dubois, Indiana, passed away at 10:09 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2019, in St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper.
She was born at Celestine, Indiana on December 12, 1927, to Joseph and Anna (Schnell) Heichelbech. She married Victor Nonte who passed away December 9, 1992.
Edna retired from Kimball International (Style masters Division) and previously had worked for Dubois Cabinet Company in Dubois and many years at the Mathies Café in Dubois.
She is a member of St. Isidore Parish – St. Raphael’s Campus in Dubois. Auxiliary to V.F.W. Post # 673 in Jasper.
Surviving are her caregivers, Larry and Judy Beckman of Dubois, IN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 4, 2019, in St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Dubois with burial to follow in St. Raphael’s Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time at church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Raphael’s Catholic Church or to the Dubois Fire Department and the Dubois Park.
