Earl E. “Brewster” Klueh, 83, of Ferdinand
Earl E. “Brewster” Klueh, 83, of Ferdinand, passed away Saturday, March 9th at his home.
Brewster was born January 5, 1936 in Ferdinand to Rupert and Emma (Hollinden) Klueh. He married Judy Meyer on July 4th, 1963 in Mariah Hill. Brewster worked as a grocer for 52 years. He worked at Schreiner and Verkamp IGA, Verkamp Red and White and then at Holiday Foods.
Brewster was a member of Christ the King Parish, St. Ferdinand Church. He was a Cincinnati Reds, Indiana Hoosier and Indianapolis Colts fan. He was a charter member of Ferdinand Jaycees and Ferdinand Community Center.
Brewster is survived by his wife, Judy Klueh of Ferdinand; two daughters, Susan (Rodney) Blume of St. Anthony and Sandy (Joe) Dold of Chalmers, IN; two sisters, Joan Verkamp of Ferdinand and Doretha (Jim) Wahl of Ferdinand; five grandchildren.
Brewster was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Klueh and a brother in infancy, Rupert Jr.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Friday in St. Ferdinand Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8:00 PM at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand and also Friday from 7-9:30 AM at the funeral home.
