Douglas D. Patberg, age 56, formerly of Huntingburg

Douglas D. Patberg, age 56, of Evansville, formerly of Huntingburg, passed away at 1:30 a.m., Thursday, June 13, 2019, at the Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville. 

He was born June 21, 1962, in Huntingburg, to Don and Eileen (Luker) Patberg.  Doug was a floral designer and cheerleading coach for William Henry Harrison High School in Evansville.

He is survived by two children, Logan Patberg and Hannah Patberg both of Evansville; his parents, Don and Eileen Patberg of Huntingburg; two brothers, John (Margie) Patberg of Jeffersonville and Brad (Jill) Patberg of Huntingburg; and one grandson, Oskar Patberg.

Funeral services for Douglas Patberg will be held at 11:00 a.m., E.D.T., on Monday, June 17, 2019, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.  The funeral Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Ryan Hilderbrand.

 Friends may call for visitation at St. Mary’s Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Monday morning, the day of the service.  Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to assist with burial expenses.
