Doris Marie Hanebutt, 54, of Huntingburg

She was born March 10, 1967, in Huntingburg, to Claude Jr. and Mary Darlene (Merkley) VanHoosier; and married Jeffrey A. Hanebutt on August 19, 1989 in St. Meinrad, Indiana. Doris was a member of Salem United Church of Christ in Huntingburg; and loved cooking and traveling. She was preceded in death by her father; and one sister, Sandy VanHoosier. 

Doris was survived by her husband, Jeffrey A. Hanebutt of Huntingburg; two daughters, Kayla Marie and Melissa Renee Hanebutt, both at home; her mother, Mary VanHoosier of St. Meinrad; two sisters, Judy Mangin of Santa Claus and Mary Kaster of Tell City; three brothers, Kevin VanHoosier of Tell City, Johnny VanHoosier of Washington, D.C. and James VanHoosier of St. Meinrad. 

Funeral services for Doris Marie Hanebutt will be held at 10:00 a.m., E.D.T., Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Salem United Church of Christ in Huntingburg. 

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, November 5th ; and also from 9:00-10:00 a.m., on Saturday, at the church.
