Donald Ray "Donnie" Kruger, age 66 of Davie, Florida, formerly of Jasper, IN, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2020 at Memorial Hospital West in Florida after a short illness.
Donnie was born in Jasper, Indiana on June 22, 1954 to Charles A. and Irene (Heidet) Kruger.
He retired from Jack Lyons Truck Parts in Florida.
He was a member of the Jasper Moose Lodge #1175.
Donnie enjoyed comic book collecting, was an avid Miami Dolphins and I.U. Basketball fan, and enjoyed spending time with family and nieces and nephews.
Surviving is one brother; Charles F. Kruger, Jasper, and several nieces and nephews, including the ones he was raised with; Roxane Eckerle (Scott), Angie Flick, Deanna Zehr, Mitch Zehr, Ted Zehr (Cheryl), Clyston Zehr Jr. (Debbie), and Todd Zehr, also several great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents, two sisters; Valeria Zehr, and Patricia Kruger, and one brother; Robert Kruger.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Donald Ray "Donnie" Kruger will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.
A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Mass time at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Tuesday. Masks and social distancing will be required for the visitation and Mass.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Precious Blood Catholic Church, or to a favorite charity.
