David Lyn Scott, 82, Paoli

David Lyn Scott, 82, Paoli, Indiana, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2022 at his home with family.

He was born December 9, 1939, in Paoli, Indiana to Carl and Katheryn Scott.

David married Phyllis Qualkenbush, of French Lick, Indiana, on July 14, 1970. Their love for each other was unwavering as they took on all of life’s adventures together.

David began his business as the owner/operator of Scott’s Collision Care in 1969 and has served Orange County and surrounding communities since then. He owned multiple car lots, body shops, and gas stations throughout Orange and Lawrence Counties.

He had multiple gifts from painting cars, being an outdoor enthusiast, and crafting guitars. He was also an avid fisherman and participated in multiple tournaments including the Red Mann Series. He loved spending time with his family and learning and teaching the Word of God.
