Corey Dwayne Ivey, 49, of Tell City, formerly of Shoals

Corey Dwayne Ivey, 49, of Tell City, formerly of Shoals, Indiana passed away on Tuesday January 31, 2023, at his residence.

He was born on May 29, 1973, in Bedford, Indiana to Charlotte (Williams) Mundy.

Corey was of the Baptist Faith. He attended Shoals High School. Corey loved to spend time with his friends and family. He was a member of the American Legion Post 61, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Fraternal Order of Eagles #2442 all of Shoals, Indiana. Corey had a mind for technology, he worked with computers, satellites, and robotics. He most recently worked for ATTC Manufacturing Inc. in Tell City, Indiana. Corey liked to take pictures of Hindostan, the Over- Look, and other local scenery. He studied Architectural/CAD at Vincennes University. He had an eye for photography and was a good artist. He will be missed by all that knew him.

Corey is preceded in death by his father, Norman D. Mundy, his grandparents, Charles and Doris Williams, and his grandmother, Blanche Mundy.

He is survived by his mother, Charlotte Mundy of Loogootee, Indiana, his siblings, Laura (Dane) Barber of Hudsonville, Indiana, Tracy Winkler of Mitchell, Indiana, Tricia Hodges of Mitchell, Indiana, Trent (Sandra) Mundy of Iowa, his aunts, Becky (Melvin) Lee of Loogootee, Indiana, Debbie (Dave) Bledsoe of Loogootee, Indiana, and several nieces, nephews, great- nieces and great- nephews, and many friends.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday February 7, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee, Indiana with Bro. Chase King to officiate. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery in Shoals, Indiana.

Friends may visit on Tuesday February 7, 2023, from 10:00 A.M until 1:00 P.M at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee, Indiana.

Memorial donations can be made to the Martin County Humane Society in Corey’s memory.
