Clara Bradley, 87 years of age, from Loogootee.

Clara Frances Bradley, 87, of Loogootee, Indiana, passed away at 10:42 p.m. January 7, 2024 at her home.  

She was born February 12, 1936 in Loogootee, Indiana to the late Leo and Letha (Queen) Bradley. 

Clara was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She loved to walk and work in her yard. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Letha Bradley; siblings, John (Mary Margaret) Bradley, Mary Jane (Paul) Ryan, Louise (Martin) Ward, Agnes (Nelson) Hauser, Ernest (Louise) Bradley, and Inez Bradley; one niece, one nephew, two great-nieces and one great-great nephew; brothers-in-law, Guy Padgett, Eugene James, and John Zins. 

Clara is survived by her siblings, Stacia Padgett of Loogootee, Ruth James of Washington, and Irene Zins of Loogootee; 25 nieces, 22 nephews, 56 great-nieces, 55 great-nephews, 42 great-great-nieces, 52 great-great-nephews, and 8 great- great-great-nephews. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Very Rev. J. Kenneth Walker at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 13, 2024 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Loogootee. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery – Barr Township. 

Visitation will be held Friday, January 12, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
