Cheryl D. Maust, 62, of Washington

She was born September 23, 1959, in Washington, Indiana to Dwight and Wanda (Stoll) Maust. 

Cheryl was a Certified Nurse Aide and was one of the first four employees of the Daviess Community Hospital Home Health. Together she spent 36 years caring for others within Daviess Community Hospital. She attended Providence Mennonite Church. She loved playing cards, following Barr-Reeve athletics and the St. Louis Cardinals. 

Cheryl was preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Maust, in 2006. 

She is survived by her father, Dwight Maust of Washington; sisters, Marietta (Delbert) Wagler of Montgomery and Melody (Dennis) Brunson of Washington; nephews, Douglas (Julie) Wagler and Matthew (Jennifer) Wagler, both of Montgomery; nieces, Madison Brunson and Mariah Brunson, both of Washington; great-nephews, Corbin Levi and Easton Lee; several aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 7, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, February 8, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Providence Mennonite Church in Montgomery. 

There will be a graveside service at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Providence Mennonite Church Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Providence Mennonite Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Bible Memory Ministries.
